RETURN & REFUND POLICY (HOWS)

We want your HOWS experience to feel calm and correct from the first day. If something isn’t right, we’ll fix it.
1) Right of withdrawal (EU / EEA customers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union / EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, email us at support@hows-workstation.eu with:
- your order number
- the item(s) you wish to return
- your name and the delivery address
You must then send the items back within 14 days of notifying us.
2) Our extended return window (30 days)
In addition to the statutory 14-day withdrawal right, we also accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the conditions below are met.
3) Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- in the same condition as received (unused / unworn)
- complete and in the original packaging, including inserts and accessories
- with proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, damage caused after delivery, or missing parts.
4) How to start a return
Contact us at support@hows-workstation.eu and we will guide you through the return steps.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
5) Return shipping costs
Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, manufacturing defect, or transit damage), return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
If we confirm a fault or a mistake on our side, we will cover the return shipping cost and provide instructions.
6) Damages, defects, wrong items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours at support@hows-workstation.eu with photos, and we will resolve it.
7) Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you with the result. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Refund timing:
- We process approved refunds within 5 business days after inspection.
- Banks/payment providers may take additional time to post the refund.
If only part of an order is returned, we refund only the returned items (and, where applicable under EU rules, the standard outbound delivery cost for the returned items).
8) Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges through the checkout system. If you want a different item/variant, return the original item (per this policy) and place a new order.
9) Items that cannot be returned
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following may be non-returnable if opened/used:
- seat cushions, lumbar support cushions and similar personal-contact items
If you’re unsure, contact us before opening/using the item.
10) Orders and dispatch rhythm (Curated weekly dispatch)
If your order has not yet been handed over to the carrier, we may be able to cancel or adjust it. Once it is handed over, cancellations are no longer possible and the return process applies.
